With the declutter movement in full-swing, many large (and small) corporations are thinking about their swag. Their employees who attend work training and seminars are saying “no thank you” to the plastic keychain and other free trinkets. But everyone loves free stuff, right? Fairware, a new B Corp with an impressive client list, is offering sustainable merchandise that’s made to stay in use and out of the landfill. Bluedot Institute student Cleo Carney goes deep with the co-founder of Fairware, Denise Taschereau.
“Denise and her co-founder, Sarah White, work in tandem to produce high quality products while making a positive impact on their community and the environment. If the merchandise industry has a chance of survival in our climate-conscious future, it must follow Fairware’s suit and draw inspiration from Denise’s and Sarah’s lead.”
Bluedot Living periodically showcases student work from the Bluedot Institute: a non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to supporting students and their teachers in creating local, solution oriented projects that address the environment and climate change.
